analysis
At Metralis, we follow a certified and internationally recognized methodology for precious metal analysis, ensuring our processes meet the highest standards of
accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Our analytical workflow is built on three core stages: XRF, fire assay, and ICP-OES — each playing a vital role in delivering
reliable and trustworthy results.
What sets us apart is the individual expertise we apply between these steps.
We’ve developed refined internal techniques that fine-tune the process based on the unique characteristics of each sample. These refinements operate strictly
within accepted protocols, enhancing precision without compromising methodological integrity. This combination of proven methods and tailored precision allows
us to offer analysis that is both dependable and uniquely detailed.
These smart tweaks turn standard analysis into something more powerful, more precise, more insightful.

X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)
Used to evaluate the primary amount of precious metals in a sample. This rapid, non-destructive method provides a preliminary assessment that guides the next stages. Based on XRF results, we determine the appropriate chemicals and quantities required for further processing, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the testing workflow.
Fire Assay
Highly accurate and traditional method for determining precious metal content. Using high-temperature techniques, we extract and isolate metals from the sample, providing a precise measurement that builds on the XRF results. This step is essential for confirming the composition and preparing the sample for further analysis.

Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES)
Employed for detailed quantitative analysis. This advanced method measures trace elements with exceptional precision, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the sample’s composition and delivering results that meet the highest industry standards.
